For instance, in the electronics sector, ceramic components must meet strict criteria regarding high purity and low impurity levels; conversely, in the chemical industry, the emphasis shifts to their resistance to corrosion and high temperatures.
The standards governing ceramic components primarily fall into two categories: national standards and enterprise standards. Currently, the key national standards in force include GB/T 4100, GB/T 6566, and GB/T 3810.1, among others. Specifically, GB/T 4100 establishes specifications for the basic dimensional tolerances, geometric characteristics, and flatness of ceramic tiles; GB/T 6566 serves as the standard for assessing the porcelain quality of ceramic tiles; and GB/T 3810.1 outlines the testing methods applicable to architectural ceramics.
